ABOUT CLAUDIA GRAY
Claudia Gray is the young adult paranormal romance bestselling author of the Evernight series—‘Evernight’, ‘Stargazer’, ‘Hourglass’, ‘Afterlife’, and ‘Balthazar’—and the ‘Spellcaster’ trilogy—‘Spellcaster’, Steadfast’, and ‘Sorceress’. Her latest book ‘A Thousand Pieces of You’ is the first book in her new series ‘Frebird’. She worked as a lawyer, journalist, disc jockey and a waiter before becoming a published writer.

ABOUT A THOUSAND PIECES OF YOU
Orphan Black meets Cloud Atlas in the first book of this epic dimension–bending trilogy about a girl who must chase her father’s killer through multiple dimensions.

Marguerite Caine’s physicist parents are known for their groundbreaking achievements. Their most astonishing invention, called the Firebird, allows users to jump into multiple universes—and promises to revolutionize science forever. But then Marguerite’s father is murdered, and the killer—her parent’s handsome, enigmatic assistant Paul— escapes into another dimension before the law can touch him.

Marguerite refuses to let the man who destroyed her family go free. So she races after Paul through different universes, always leaping into another version of herself. To accomplish her goal, she must learn how each world works, and confront the many people she has the capacity to become. But she also meets alternate versions of the people she knows — including Paul, whose life entangles with hers in increasingly familiar ways. Before long she begins to question Paul’s guilt—as well as her own heart. And soon she discovers the truth behind her father’s death is far more sinister than she expected.

A THOUSAND PIECES OF YOU explores an amazingly intricate multi-universe where the truth is elusive, and love the greatest mystery of all.

ABOUT MADELEINE ROUX
Madeleine Roux is the author of the bestselling young adult thrilling and photo-illustrated novels ‘Asylum’ and its sequel ‘Sanctum’. She received her BA in Creative Writing and Acting from Beloit College in 2008 and completed an Honors Term in 2009.

ABOUT ASYLUM
Asylum is a thrilling and creepy photo-novel perfect for fans of the New York Times bestseller Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children.

For sixteen-year-old Dan Crawford, New Hampshire College Prep is more than a summer program—it's a lifeline. An outcast at his high school, Dan is excited to finally make some friends in his last summer before college. But when he arrives at the program, Dan learns that his dorm for the summer used to be a sanatorium, more commonly known as an asylum. And not just any asylum—a last resort for the criminally insane.

As Dan and his new friends, Abby and Jordan, explore the hidden recesses of their creepy summer home, they soon discover it's no coincidence that the three of them ended up here. Because the asylum holds the key to a terrifying past. And there are some secrets that refuse to stay buried.

Featuring found photos of unsettling history and real abandoned asylums and filled with chilling mystery and page-turning suspense, Madeleine Roux's teen debut, Asylum, is a horror story that treads the line between genius and insanity.

So, because I'm not very familiar with these authors, I'm still hesitating because I'll be saving up for the next Book Signing event the following month!

It's Marie Lu's Book Signing Tour!

Many of you might have seen Marie Lu's confirmation about her booksigning in her twitter account!

What: Marie Lu Book Signing Tour

When: November 22, 1 pm
Where: The Gallery, Ayala Center Cebu

When: November 23, 2 pm
Where: National Book Store, Glorietta 1

Registration starts at 10 am for both events.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Marie Lu (marielu.org) is the author of the New York Times bestselling novels Legend, Prodigy, and Champion. She graduated from the University of Southern California and jumped into the video game industry, working for Disney Interactive Studios as a Flash artist. Now a full-time writer, she spends her spare time reading, drawing, playing Assassin's Creed, and getting stuck in traffic. She lives in Los Angeles, California (see above: traffic), with one husband, one Chihuahua mix, and two Pembroke Welsh corgis.

ABOUT THE YOUNG ELITES
I am tired of being used, hurt, and cast aside.

Adelina Amouteru is a survivor of the blood fever. A decade ago, the deadly illness swept through her nation. Most of the infected perished, while many of the children who survived were left with strange markings. Adelina’s black hair turned silver, her lashes went pale, and now she has only a jagged scar where her left eye once was. Her cruel father believes she is a malfetto, an abomination, ruining their family’s good name and standing in the way of their fortune. But some of the fever’s survivors are rumored to possess more than just scars—they are believed to have mysterious and powerful gifts, and though their identities remain secret, they have come to be called the Young Elites.

Teren Santoro works for the king. As Leader of the Inquisition Axis, it is his job to seek out the Young Elites, to destroy them before they destroy the nation. He believes the Young Elites to be dangerous and vengeful, but it’s Teren who may possess the darkest secret of all.

Enzo Valenciano is a member of the Dagger Society. This secret sect of Young Elites seeks out others like them before the Inquisition Axis can. But when the Daggers find Adelina, they discover someone with powers like they’ve never seen.

Adelina wants to believe Enzo is on her side, and that Teren is the true enemy. But the lives of these three will collide in unexpected ways, as each fights a very different and personal battle. But of one thing they are all certain: Adelina has abilities that shouldn’t belong in this world. A vengeful blackness in her heart. And a desire to destroy all who dare to cross her.

It is my turn to use. My turn to hurt.

ABOUT LANG LEAV
The enchanting work of contemporary author and artist Lang Leav swings between the whimsical and woeful, expressing a complexity beneath its child-like facade.

Her imagination stretches across a variety of disciplines encompassing art, poetry and books. She is currently represented by New York literary agent Al Zuckerman from Writers House.

Frequently invited to exhibit at high profile exhibitions locally and overseas, she has since built up a loyal following of international fans. Her handcrafted book, Charlie’s Widow, was presented to iconic film director Tim Burton at the opening of his Wonderland exhibition at the Australian Centre for the Moving Image.

Lang is a recipient of The Qantas Spirit of Youth Award and was later granted a coveted Churchill Fellowship. Her fashion label Akina has achieved critical and commercial success, stocked in key boutiques around Australia and later in cutting edge Harajuku, Japan.

ABOUT THE LULLABIES
A sequel to the hugely popular, best-selling Love & Misadventure, Lullabies continues to explore the intricacies of love and loss.

Set to a musical theme, love's poetic journey in this new, original collection begins with a Duet and travels through Interlude and Finale with an Encore popular piece from the best-selling Love & Misadventure. Lang Leav's evocative poetry speaks to the soul of anyone who is on this journey.

Leav has an unnerving ability to see inside the hearts and minds of her readers. Her talent for translating complex emotions with astonishing simplicity has won her a cult following of devoted fans from all over the world.

So this booksigning is a very rare one so it has it's own special mechanics:

1. There will be three (3) book signings each with a limited number of signing slots:
• December 5, 5 PM, The Gallery, Ayala Center Cebu (200 slots)
• December 6, 12 PM, East Atrium, Shangri-La Plaza East Wing (500 slots)
• December 7, 12 PM, Powerbooks, Greenbelt 4 (500 slots)
2. Registration will start at 10 AM for all events. FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED.
3. Lang Leav will only sign copies of her book LULLABIES. No other book or other item will be allowed.
4. Each registrant is only allowed to have one (1) book signed.
5. Only copies of LULLABIES bought at any National Book Store, NBS Express, and Powerbooks branches will be allowed. The book MUST have its official receipt or price tag.

So, I think I won't be able to attend this one because every signing has limited slots only, and the venues are pretty far from us.

So, yeah.

Happy weekend! Readers!

P.S. Thank you for giving me 1000+ OVERALL pageviews! Love you guys!
