BOOK NEWS: BOOK SIGNINGS OF ALEX LONDON, JENNIFER SMITH, AND LISSA PRICE!

Hi Guys! It's Luigi! Sorry I haven't been active for a while.

Anyways, I know a lot of you might ask why I used the Center/Middle Alignment...

Here's why, We'll use the Center/Middle Alignment during BOOK NEWS!

Special Topics in Book News are those that does not happen everyday.

Usually we'll talk about book signings, book events, and many more.

We all now that National Book Store has brought many authors here in the Philippines.

And now they're bringing three awesome authors in the Philippines again!

The first one is sir Alex London.

He is the author of the books Proxy and Guardian.

About Proxy
Knox was born into one of the City's wealthiest families. A Patron, he has everything a boy could possibly want—the latest tech, the coolest clothes, and a Proxy to take all his punishments. When Knox breaks a vase, Syd is beaten. When Knox plays a practical joke, Syd is forced to haul rocks. And when Knox crashes a car, killing one of his friends, Syd is branded and sentenced to death.

Syd is a Proxy. His life is not his own.

Then again, neither is Knox’s. Knox and Syd have more in common than either would guess. So when Knox and Syd realize that the only way to beat the system is to save each other, they flee. Yet Knox’s father is no ordinary Patron, and Syd is no ordinary Proxy. The ensuing cross-country chase will uncover a secret society of rebels, test both boys’ resolve, and shine a blinding light onto a world of those who owe and those who pay. Some debts, it turns out, cannot be repaid.

A fast-paced, thrill-ride of novel full of non-stop action, heart-hammering suspense and true friendship—just as moving as it is exhilarating. Fans of Anthony Horowitz's Alex Rider series, James Dashner's Maze Runner, Patrick Ness's Chaos Walking series, and Marie Lu's Legend will be swept away by this story.

About Guardian
In the new world led by the Rebooters, former Proxy Syd is the figurehead of the Revolution, beloved by some and hated by others. Liam, a seventeen-year-old Rebooter, is Syd’s bodyguard and must protect him with his life. But armed Machinists aren’t the only danger.

People are falling ill—their veins show through their skin, they find it hard to speak, and sores erupt all over their bodies. Guardians, the violent enforcers of the old system, are hit first, and the government does nothing to help. The old elites fall next, and in the face of an indifferent government, Syd decides it’s up to him to find a cure . . . and what he discovers leaves him stunned.

This heart-stopping thriller is packed with action, adventure, and heroics. Guardian will leave you breathless until the final page.

I am still hesitating to attend his book signing because I don't know a lot about him and his books.

Here's the second event!

It's the two best-selling authors Jennifer E. Smith and Lissa Price!

Jennifer E. Smith is the author of The Geography of You and Me, This Is What Happy Looks Like, The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight, The Storm Makers, You Are Here, and The Comeback Season. She earned a master’s degree in creative writing from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland, and her work has been translated into twenty-nine languages.

Lissa Price’s debut novel STARTERS is an international bestseller published in over thirty countries, with praise from Kami Garcia and Harlan Ellison. Dean Koontz called this YA futuristic thriller “a smart, swift, inventive, altogether gripping story.” STARTERS appeared on many best-of lists and won top awards in the Netherlands, Germany and France. Kirkus called the sequel, ENDERS, “delightfully disturbing,” and La Fenice Book said: “Enders is one of the most original dystopian stories that has been published.” Set in a future L.A., the series asks the question: Would you rent out your body to a senior so they could be young again temporarily? Lissa lives in the foothills of Southern California where she sees the setting sun each day from her writing desk.
