FEBRUARY WRAP-UP | 2016

~ Welcome to Day 3 of #29DaysWithLuigi ~

Hello wonderful readers! It's day 3 today!

Today, I will be sharing my February wrap-up and everything along with it.

Let's begin?

February, as a reading month, was a whole lot better than January. I've doubled the amount I read last time, which was 1 book, to 3 books this month! (trust me that's an accomplishment)

I have read three wonderfully written books this month and I am so excited to share them with you guys!

The first book I have read for the month is Nicholas St. North and the Battle of the Nightmare King by William Joyce!

This book is incredible. I am dying to get my hands onto this book since 2012, the release of Rise of the Guardians, my favorite animated film.

This first book in the series is definitely a great start. It introduced a very fantastic world clearly and I was kept interested throughout the whole book. It showed various wonderful characters that kept me interested. It has an amazing plot and is filled with illustrations. One of the absolute things I love about this book is despite it being a children's novel, adults (teens, in my case) can still get something from it that we probably neglect in this busy world.

I ended up giving it a 4.2 out of 5 books.

The second book I read last month is E. Aster Bunnymund and the Warrior Eggs at the Earth's Core also by William Joyce.

After reading the second book in the series, I can conclude that this series keeps getting better and better.

The second book developed the series' world even more. It also gave a new feel to the story and I loved how things turned out. An addition character also made me more interested in the story. It widened the plot as it was on the first book which I think is a very great strategy for the conclusion. The illustrations were even more fun and interesting than it was on the first book. It made me wonder and think. This series is definitely a must read.

I ended up giving the book a 4.4 out of 5 books.

The last book I read last month is The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky.

This book is phenomenal. I have watched the movie for years now and been meaning to read the book but I wasn't ready then for the topics revolving on this book before. I was left in awe. I cannot comprehend how much this book have inspired and changed me. This book is just plainly beautifully written and I am very thankful for Stephen Chbosky.

I ended up giving this book, of course, a 5 out of 5 books!

And that is it for today's post! Watch out for my February Book Haul tomorrow!
